COSMETIC ACUPUNCTURE AND MICRONEEDLING
Medical microneedling and cosmetic acupuncture are procedures rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, where ultra-fine needles are inserted into the skin. These tiny punctures prompt the skin to boost collagen production and generate new skin cells. This process activates and revitalizes the skin, muscles, and acupuncture meridians on the face. This treatment encourages cellular regeneration, reduces inflammation, and improves circulation.
Microneedling
Microneedling uses an electronic device and sterile cartridges with 16 ultra-fine needles to create tiny channels in the skin, and stimulates skin cells to repair and regenerate. The repair process stimulates the production of collagen and elastin fibers. These new fibers increase elasticity and firmness while smoothing the texture of the skin. Microneedling can help excess skin pigment to move up through the skin, reducing dark spots.
Every microneedle treatment comes with a complementary take home kit including: Calm (arnica and aloe spray), Superb Serum (hyaluronic acid, collagen, vitamin C), and Ageless Cream (apple pectin stem cells, camellia oil, pearl powder, and more). Microneedling can be done once every 4-6 weeks, and a series of 4-6 treatments is typically recommended.
Microneedling can be used for:
Fine Lines, Wrinkles, and Saggy Skin | Dull and Dry Complexion | Hyperpigmentation
Enlarged Pores | Stretch Marks | Acne Scars
Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture
While microneedling focuses on the epidermis (superficial level of the skin), facial acupuncture focuses more on the facial muscles, acupuncture points and meridians, and circulation. Acupuncture provides many benefits for people seeking to rejuvenate their skin's appearance and vitality. It promotes collagen production, enhances muscle tone, boosts circulation, and stimulates blood flow. Cosmetic facial acupuncture goes beyond skin deep; it influences the body's energy flow, initiating a process that supports overall health and wellbeing.
Facial acupuncture should be done 1-3 times per week, and a series of 10-12 treatments is typically recommended. A facial acupuncture treatment also includes: LED light therapy to increase circulation and stimulate collagen, and facial cupping and guasha to stimulate circulation and the lymphatic system.
Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture can be used for:
Fine Lines and Deeper Wrinkles | Sagging Eyelids and Bags/Circles | Premature Aging | Facial Puffiness
Improve Muscle Tone and Increase Collagen | Firm Jawline | Improve Facial Color
Reduce Stress Evident in the Face | Promote Overall Health and Wellbeing
LED Light Therapy
LED Light Therapy (also known as Low-Level Laser Therapy) utilizes several different wavelengths of visible and non-visible light. These different wavelengths penetrate the skin to different depths, and stimulate light receptive cells at those depths. It has been shown to stimulate collagen synthesis, reduce inflammation, improve the action of mitochondria (the powerhouse of the cell) to repair cells and tissues, and more!
LED Light Therapy can be used for:
Wrinkles and Sagging Skin | Hyperpigmentation | Stimulate Hair Growth | Acne and Rosacea
